Areas of Application

Work/time management

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

The TMU CALCULATOR® (MTM Software / MTM App) finds application in

  • individual production
  • series production
  • and mass production

whose areas are already valuated and should be continuously improved, or should be valuated from scratch with standardized time modules from pre-determined time systems* such as Methods-Time Measurement (MTM).

*Pre-determined time systems are manual work processes that can be affected by employees, which must be divided up into motion elements and have reproducible standard time values assigned to them.

Examples of pre-defined motion elements can include the following operations:
Grabbing, gripping, bringing, placing, letting go, operating, movement cycles, body movements and visual inspections as well as combined core operations like screwing, tightening/loosening, unpacking, cleaning, gluing, marking, assembling standard parts, inspecting or measuring, transporting.

TMU CALCULATOR® for user training in MTM

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
The TMU CALCULATOR® is a valuable tool for training employees in the use of pre-determined time systems. The device provides a high degree of transparency through its comprehensible selection steps, stored definitions, message notifications and sets of rules. These can be viewed at any time, even during mobile device application.
